Description
SQSH is a grassroots community-based collective of queer and trans St. Louisans. SQSH dreams of a liberated St. Louis Metro Area where people of all genders and sexualities live with power, safety, and abundance. Their vision for the future is described in their manifestations document Dreaming Towards Liberation: Queer Futurist Manifestations.
SQSH’s mission is to build community capacity for queer St. Louisans to thrive by radically reimagining our systems of support & healing. We do this work through, non-hierarchical peer support and community-building, connections with identity-affirming resources and healing spaces, embodied analysis of oppressive systems that impact our community, moving systems closer towards liberatory values, and education and advocacy to uplift queer St. Louisan stories.SQSH (St. Louis Queer Support and Healing)
