A few sentences about the site - or the event, person, or organization tied to the site. Why this site? Why does it belong on the Landscapes of Hope map?
The Green Center is a nonprofit organization that runs summer camp programs, provides space for climate workers, and grows native Missouri plants in an effort to educate and mobilize towards climate action in St. Louis and beyond. The Green Center cultivates ecological knowledge and splices it with community outreach to create a web of professionals, artists, neighbors, and more. Their commitment to doing climate work in an increasingly hostile political environment, as well as their work to ensure children build environmental awareness, inspire hope not only for the future of our climate but for the connections and community they support.
