- Description
- Cedric Antonio Kyles, better known as “Cedric the Entertainer” was a St. Louis icon, best known for his comedy and acting but was also a civil rights activist. It is here, in St. Louis, at the Funny Bone, where “Cedric the Entertainer” got his biggest break that put him on the track to stardom. To the rest of the nation, he may have just been an actor and comedian but to the St. Louis community and further reaching Missouri community he was more than that. His charitable work helped many families and foundations and his own foundation “Cedric the Entertainer Charitable Foundation” provides support for low-income families and youth in the St. Louis area with academic assistance and outreach.
