Title

Portrait of Robyn Carolyn Montague by Deborah A. Montague

Description

Portrait drawing in crayon, chalk, and pencil of Robyn Carolyn Montague by her then wife Deborah A. Montague. This portrait was drawn when Robyn Montague, who was a transgender woman, still presented as a male and had what she regarded as a rough and masculine appearance. For Montague, this portrait was a reminder that "exteriors sometimes hide a true self."
