The University of Missouri-St. Louis has a rich history of fostering a sense of togetherness and community while also serving as a creative outlet for the student body. The performing arts, the orchestra, and dances that the school has put have served as sources of creative expression for the students of UMSL, while also in some ways connecting them to the larger St. Louis community as a whole.
